Confronting Terror: A Letter to the World

Dear The World-

In light of the recent execution of six hostages, including an American citizen, it is crucial to address a grave issue that has been overshadowed by misplaced criticisms and misguided narratives. The atrocity committed by Hamas—a designated terrorist organization—is a stark reminder that we are not dealing with a revolutionary or political group, but with an entity that thrives on violence and terror.

Hamas’ actions are not those of a freedom movement but of a calculated terrorist organization that seeks to impose its will through fear and brutality. Its history of violence and extremism is well-documented, and its rejection of peace proposals from both Israel and the United States underscores its intent to perpetuate conflict rather than seek resolution. The media’s focus often obscures these facts, allowing the public to forget that Hamas illegally entered a country, slaughtered children, raped innocent women, and took hostages in a brutal campaign of terror.

It is deeply troubling to see the current United States President condemn Israel’s government for allegedly failing to do enough to save the hostages. Such criticism not only undermines efforts to hold Hamas accountable but also denounces a critical ally. This stance weakens the global resolve needed to confront terrorism and sends a troubling message about our commitment to combating extremist violence. It also further increases antisemitism as any statement or opinion that has anything to do with Jews has become an issue for society.

Hamas does not serve or protect the people of Gaza. Instead, it manipulates and terrorizes them, ensuring that any hope for a free and just society remains out of reach. The group thrives on chaos and oppression, maintaining its grip on power through fear and violence. By focusing on condemning Israel rather than addressing Hamas’ brutal tactics, we risk allowing this cycle of terror to continue.

If Hamas is rewarded or given concessions after such heinous acts, it sets a dangerous precedent. It sends a message that terrorism and hostage-taking can achieve political goals, encouraging similar behavior from other extremist groups around the world. The threat posed by Hamas extends beyond the immediate region, and ignoring it could have far-reaching consequences for global stability. Calls for more concessions from the Israeli government when Hamas is the group that brutally executed these six hostages hours before Israeli forces found them, will lead to more instability in the region. This will further spill over to demonstrations worldwide as the rhetoric surrounding Palestine has taken on its own life.

What kind of world are we creating if we allow terrorism to go unchallenged? What kind of society are we leaving for our children if we permit such atrocities to occur without consequence? The only way to prevent future tragedies and protect innocent lives is through a unified global stance against Hamas and all forms of terrorism. It is time for the international community to act decisively, uphold justice, and ensure that the legacy we leave behind is one of peace and security, not fear and violence.

Make no mistake everyone. Hamas is not acting alone. It is carrying out Iran’s extreme Islamist agenda, which calls for death to all Jews, death to anyone who does not share their radical views, and, ultimately, death to America. This is not merely a Jewish issue—it is a global issue. The threat posed by Hamas and its extremist backers is a threat to every citizen of the world. The media must wake up and sound the alarm before it’s too late. This is a fight against terror, hatred, and extremism that transcends borders and nationalities
